Alice in Wonderland Wedding at Horning's Hideout

Last summer we had the wonderful opportunity to coordinate a whimsical Alice in Wonderland themed wedding at Horning’s Hideout. It turned out to be a drizzly day despite it being the middle of September (that’s Oregon for ya!) but it was pure magic. We worked with a DREAM team, and looking back, it’s one of my very favorite weddings to date.

The bride wore Doc Martens, which turned out to be the perfect shoes for the rainy weather!

We used bunnies, old books, and teacups galore to decorate our tablescape!

Each guest received a teacup as a favor!

We used a collection of mismatched chairs to add to the whimsical theme.

Our amazing florist, Distinctive Designs, used real moss down the center of our farm tables.

It rained (for good luck, of course!) but each guest had a matching umbrella.

These cards and dominoes are actually REAL shortbread cookies! Whaaaat?

We had a groom’s cake and a bride’s cake, provided by Country Cake Shop.

Horning’s Hideout is the perfect combo of magical woodland and tropical lush forest!

Naturally, we had an over-sized chess board to continue the wonderland theme.

We had a live bunny petting zoo, tipping our hat to the infamous White Rabbit!

We ended the reception at sunset with a joyful bubble exit!
